Raised Herb Bed, 3 Days Later

16 April 2012

Most of the transplants are doing remarkably well in the herb bed.  I was concerned that they were all too big and the soil was too different for them to survive the transplant, but they seem okay.  The mint and thyme are slightly wilted and a little yellowish, but holding together far better than I anticipated, at least for now.  One of the cilantro plants is not well.  I’m afraid I damaged its roots when I pulled out the intermingled wire grass.  The other cilantro looks exactly like it did when I moved it.  I’m amazed such a large plant is handling the transplant so well.

Sick cilantro on the left, healthy on the right
